Department of Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering CSE at SIRT-S, Bhopal has started in the year 2007 in Under Graduate BE course program with intake of 60 students. Currently department has intake of 120 students in under graduate B-Tech program. Further in 2013, it started the post graduate M.-Tech program in the Computer Science and Engineering CSE stream with intake of 18 students, Currently MTech program has intake of 24 students. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum as per the guidelines of RGPV which includes topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The department also provides outstanding research guidance to M-Tech. students by senior faculty members having more than 10 years of experience in almost all areas of computer discipline The teaching aids used are conventional green /white boards, overhead projectors OHP, LCDs, Smart Class Rooms and series of lectures available at NPTEL. The Department has state of the art infrastructure with the inclusion of computing equipment supported by high speed networks.
