GIS can refer to a no. of different technologies process, technologies processes techniques and methods. It is attached to many operations related to engineering, planning, management.GIS technology applies geographic science with tools for understanding and collaboration it helps people reach to common goal to gain actionable intelligence from all type of data.Remote sensing is the art and science of making measurement of earth using sensor on airplanes or satellites. These sensor collect data in the form of images and provide specialized capabilities for manipulating, analyzing and visualizing those images.

Department of Civil Engineering
