RGPV Centralized Laboratory developed under TEQIP-III for the students aiming to provide state of art research facility to researchers, Post Graduate Students and faculties of all affiliating institutions of RGPV across the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Centre for Research in Earthquake Engineering & Disaster Management (CREED)

CREED lab will elevate research in the field of earthquake engineering, structural vulnerability assessment and disaster mitigation. The facilities include advance knowledge resources and high performance instruments to disseminate testing capabilities for understanding structural behavior and response to a wide range of seismic activities.

Centre for excellence in Alternative Automotive Fuels & Emission.

The lab will impart research & testing of Various Petrol & Diesel Engines with new alternate fuels and testing of emissions of engine to propose new alternate fuels. Lab will include four Cylinder Petrol Research Engine with ECU controls including Multi speed MPFI 1200cc automotive petrol engine with eddy current dynamometer and combustion measurement facility and Computer controlled variable compression ratio multi fuel engine.

Centralized Renewable Energy Research Centre (RERC)

Laboratory will contribute in research & testing of Photovoltaic Modules, Solar Resource Assessment and research on various fundamentals of Solar Photovoltaic’s, Wind Energy, Biomass and Solar Thermal. Centre will be equipped with Signal Analyzer (PV Kit), Solar Power Meter Analyzer and Data Logger, Transient Temperature Signal Analyzer, Geo Signal Analyzer and Data Logger (Ultrasonic Wind Anemometer), 15 GHz VNA Master Combination Analyzer with Vector Voltmeter, Photo Voltaic Signal Analyzer and Plotting Kit with Data Logger Unit:

Centralized Epigenetic & Cryopreservation Laboratory.

The lab will impart research in growing number of medical conditions has opened the attractive and new avenues in the field of epigenetic. The lab includes DNase RNase Free Water Purification System, Ice Flaking machine, Refrigerated Ultracentrifuge, Ultra Microbalance. The Cryopreservation equipment’s includes, -80º C Freezer with a capacity of 400-450 liters, LN2 Device 2000 Useful for preservation of viable animal and human cell lines for animal cell culture, stem cell technology and medical biotechnology.

Centralized Lab - I for research in Computer Science and Information Technology

  • Lab includes ANEKA software for Cloud Computing for hands-on experiments using cloud based lab technologies.
  • NETSIM software for Networking to carry out research projects in the area of LTE, MANET, VANET, Wireless sensor network, cognitive radio network etc.

Centralized Lab - II for research in Computer Science and Information Technology.

  • Lab will include IoT for research on areas such as sensor data processing, network architecture and embedded intelligence.
  • Designing of software systems for assisting product design and development
  • Design of quality management program for manufacturing and service sectors
  • Design of algorithms for geometric modeling and image processing, Mobile Computing and Security Laboratory with advanced software programmable framework.

Centralized Lab - III for research in Electrical & Electronics

  • Laboratory includes Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) Software along with tools for 30 users.
  • Laboratory Virtual Instrument Graphical User Interface Engineering Software (LABVIEW) for 25 users.
  • MATLAB/ PSCAD Simulink based Real time simulator using both CPU & FPGA cosimulation Technology for plant & controller simulation.
  • Analysis, Modeling, design, and testing of analog electronic circuits including Spice simulations, prototyping and testing of the circuits

Centralized Lab - IV for research in Mechanical & Civil Engineering

  • The Intelligent Machines Design Laboratory will include design, simulation, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and operation of a relatively complex, intelligent autonomous machine, computer aided engineering, control, mechanical design, CAD and communications.
  • The Structural Design Lab focused on conceptual structural design including form-finding, funicular structures, equilibrium methods, structural optimization, digital fabrication, and interactive design processes.

Centralized Digital Language Laboratory including Psychometric assessments

The lab will be equipped with Psychometric assessment tools to nurture and facilitate effective language learning. The use of the Interactive English software along with headsets with mic is very useful for students, learning languages for communication. These interactive tools are designed to enhance not only language teaching but also listening, speaking, reading, writing, class room grading and placement skills learning.

Improvement in Teaching Learning and research competence of affiliated institutions

The University has organized no. of activities viz. FDP/ STTP/ Seminars/ Workshops/ conferences/ Expert talks under TEQIP-III at University campus and affiliated institutes across Madhya Pradesh state.

  • Provision of classes on basic sciences & languages to improve the quality of learning outcomes
  • Promotion of innovation and start-ups.
  • Innovation drives like Hackathon promoted through TEQIP-III so that innovation ideas would emerge that can be incubated in the start-up centres.
  • Mandatory internship for every UG student (three internships each spanning 4-8 weeks before completion) & ATU support to institutions to achieve this by finding suitable industry/organization for the internship.

  • Student employability Skill training.
