The aim of online FDP is to provide the industry expert sessions on various research and technical topics relevant to the context of present and future. This provide the opportunity to enhance the various aspects of Advances in green building management, Renewable Energy Technologies and Energy Audit and promotes faculties to effective teaching-learning pedagogy among the participants as the FDP would not be limited to only technical/engineering streams there might be fair opportunities of getting inter departmental/inter-institutional or cross institutional research/idea initiations. Energy audits provide a unique pathway to save money. Energy audit will help to understand more about the ways energy and fuel are used in any industry, and help in identifying the areas where waste can occur and where scope for improvement exists. The energy audit would give positive orientation to the energy cost reduction, preventive maintenance and quality control programmes which are vital for production and utility activities.

The Department started in 2009-10 with a undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering post graduate course in Industrial Engineering Management. The department has well equipped lab in the field of RAC, Heat Mass Transfer and Fluid
